**Job Title:** Project Manager (Cisco Systems)


**Location** : West Coast


**Length:** 6 months with the possibility of being extended

Cisco's Talent Acquisition team is at the forefront of Cisco HR's vision by recruiting and hiring amazing talent. The Talent Acquisition Operations group is responsible for analytics, programs, tools and systems that enable and transform the recruitment of future Cisco employees.


**Role/Responsibilities:**


We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager. This process-oriented guru will work with in the Talent Acquisition to ensure that Cisco attracts and hires the best talent. Core responsibilities include:


+ Manage 2-3 medium sized projects and change initiatives

+ Tracking and reporting out on key initiatives and team actions, including key wins and progress

+ Defines & validates project scope, project plan & schedule for moderately complex projects; defines metrics for project success; select & apply standards (e.g. delivery process, roles & responsibilities, operational norms, compliance)

+ Identifies risks to project success & creates mitigation plans

+ Manages project delivery process, scope & costs of moderately-complex projects under broad supervision; drives completion of the project

+ Manages stakeholder relationships; develops and executes communication plan

+ Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization and contributing to development of training

+ Evaluates project results against success metrics; recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity

+ Analyzes multiple sources of information and evaluates several alternative solutions to before confirming path forward; good skills , planning & prioritization, risk identification & management, and time & productivity management


**Minimum Qualifications:**


Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus experience in an operational role or environment.


**Desired Skills:**


+ Experience with recruiting technologies and programs with an understanding of recruiting life cycle

+ Proven track record in project/change management and methodologies/tools

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills

+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities

+ Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities are required with extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

+ Ability to negotiate, influence and resolve operational issues

+ Critical thinking and judgment

+ Experience with matrix management and working in a large global organization
