Treasury Management Division Sales Manager


This position is responsible for Treasury Management (TM) Corporate Banking Sales on a National level and is heavily focused on both revenue generation and retention of the existing book of TM business. To do this job effectively, frequent interaction with line-of-business managers and clients is required. This position requires the development of business strategies and sales objectives in support of such strategies, e.g., setting, monitoring and managing the metrics associated with such goals and taking corrective action where needed. Other key aspects include: training and coaching of the staff under a solutions-oriented sales model, managing of recruitment for the division, cultivation of skills in a solutions-selling environment, and ensuring a strong working knowledge of the TM and CPS product sets.

The position is responsible for directing the marketing, sales, operations and account management activities of multiple geographic regions or specialized sales groups within TM; managing the attainment of sales/budget goals; ensuring client satisfaction; and also the overall responsibility for TM business for major geographic regions, industry segments and/or product lines.


- Sustain profitability and growth of units.

- Provide strategic direction and leadership to pursue objectives of units.

- Create and maintain cost-effective programs for units.

- Actively ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.

- Actively participate in any required corporate and business line training in these areas.

- Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes as required for this position.

- Actively work with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.



- 12 years of banking experience.

- 7 years of management experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field.

- Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills.

- Knowledge of units and relation to industry.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.
