Organizational Development Specialist II
The purpose of this job is to manage all aspects of the Tuition Reimbursement Program, Banking and Leadership School nominations, and the Corporate Internship Program. This position will assist with career counseling and coaching of associates, marketing efforts to include career fairs and tuition reimbursement as well as provide a variety of support to other OD functions such as 360 assessments, CRMA Development Program, succession planning and leadership development through project coordination, process and procedure efforts and other assistance as needed.

+ Manage all aspects of the Tuition Reimbursement Program to include monitoring policy requirements, reviewing applicant eligibility, communicating approvals or denials to associates, distributing documents for payment to the Benefits area, and maintaining documentation of results. Develop and coordinate post-tuition reimbursement activities to assist associates in utilizing their new degrees at Trustmark. Evaluate program for enhancements or changes including ensuring program competitiveness and associate retention.

+ Manage all aspects of the Corporate Internship Program to include coordinating with colleges and universities and maintaining those relationships, interviewing candidates, assisting managers with recommendations for hire, processing all new hire paperwork, developing schedules, conducting evaluations of interns and completing documentation of results.

+ Manage all aspects of banking and leadership school nominations to include meeting with the OD Director, Talent Development Manager, and HR Director to gain nominations from executive management and final approval from CEO, correspond with nominees, process all paperwork for school enrollment, process all expense requests when schools are completed and maintain documentation of results in EDGE and spreadsheets.

+ Assist OD/Training staff with projects as needed including team effectiveness, course needs identification, course development, training presentations, program development, etc

+ Coordinate OD's marketing and advertising efforts to develop and update marketing materials (print, website, etc...) for career fairs, and other associate activities as needed.

+ Assist OD Director and Talent Development Manager in performing, coordinating, and administering various other OD functions to include career counseling and coaching, 360 assessments, CRMA development program, succession planning, competency models, maintaining the foreign language translator list and any additional activities that management deems necessary.

+ Basic knowledge of banking industry preferably Retail Banking

+ Basic math knowledge

+ Basic knowledge in Human Resources or related field

+ Basic knowledge of Organizational Development preferred

+ Excellent time management skills must be demonstrated to include the ability to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines without reminder

+ Demonstrated professionalism in manner and appearance

+ PC skills - proficient in the following

+ Excel spreadsheets

+ Word processing

+ PowerPoint

+ Publisher (preferred)

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills (This position maintains constant contact with various levels of internal clients and external vendors therefore professional and effective communication skills MUST be exhibited at all times.)

+ Excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to flex to work with all types of individuals

+ Must demonstrate good organizational skills (attention to accuracy and detail most important)

+ Four-year college degree in a related field -(Management, Human Resources, or Organizational Behavior/Development)

+ 1 1/2 to 3 years of experience in Organizational Development or HR (this includes internships, projects, and employment)

+ Minimum GPA of 3.0 (cumulative)

+ MDA training or Human Resources experience preferred

+ Master's in Human Resources or I/O Psychology preferred
