Asset Control Manager
The purpose of this job is to manage and coordinate all the processes, functions and activities pertaining to the records, transfer, or custody of Trust assets, including corporate action events and responses, fulfillment or settlement of asset transactions or asset transfer, vault custody control, asset income collection, and the complete and accurate maintenance of financial and static asset records and data. Assets may include a broad range of marketable or non-marketable debt or equity securities, real estate, mineral interests, collectibles, partnerships, or assets held at other institution for the benefit of clients.




+ Responsible for ensuring that proper procedures and controls are in place and adhered to that assure that client asset activity is fulfilled in a timely, accurate and complete manner, including but not limited to trade settlement, asset transfer, income collection, security events, and corporate action responses.


+ Responsible for creating, subscribing, assimilating, loading and maintaining accurate and complete asset records with proper controls, including data pertaining to platform subscribed assets, firm specific assets, or any other Trust assets. Trust assets may include a broad range of marketable and non-marketable debt or equity securities, real estate, mineral interests, collectables, partnerships, or assets held at other institutions for the benefit of our Trust clients.


+ Responsible for ensuring that proper procedures and controls are in place and adhered to for any physical assets held in Trust vaults throughout the firm, and that vault security and accessibility is controlled and operating properly.


+ Managing, controlling and maintaining quality, accuracy, and completeness of all assets records and data, and executing corrective measures when necessary.


+ Continuously develop personal and subordinate associate subject matter expertise on the characteristics of assets held, operational handling and transfer of assets, and best industry practices of asset maintenance.


+ Support the Wealth Management Firm Operations Manager as requested for unit projects, or operational events.





+ Knowledge of the characteristics and industry practices on a broad range of marketable and non-marketable debt or equity securities, real estate, mineral interests, collectibles, partnerships, or assets held at other institutions for the benefit of our Trust clients.

+ Must complete and comprehend SEI PLATO training assigned for role, especially towards becoming a BOXI reporting subject matter expert


+ Must achieve the SEI SWP Certification as time, schedule and budget allows


+ Must pass basic Microsoft Word and Excel tests


+ Expectation of proficiency in spreadsheet and word applications






Degree:

+ Graduate of Trust School plus 7 years of leadership experience in a role pertaining to asset custody, settlement, transfer and record keeping at a financial institution; or in absence:

+ Bachelor's Degree in a business related field plus 7 years of leadership experience in a role pertaining to asset custody, settlement, transfer and record keeping at a financial institution; or

+ Master's Degree plus 5 years of leadership experience in a role pertaining to asset custody, settlement, transfer and record keeping at a financial institution




Preferred Certificates:

+ Prior attainment of a FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, etc.

+ Certified Securities Operations Professional ("CSOP")

+ Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist ("CFIRS")




+ Certified Public Accountant ("CPA")


+ Certified Trust and Financial Advisor ("CTFA")


+ DTCC Learning Certifications


+ SEI Wealth Platform Certification
